I've Been Gone. Here's Where I've Been and Where We're Going.

Let's be honest. It's been a while.

The last time I published anything on FitFlyFellow was 2019. I won't pretend I didn't want to come back sooner. The truth is, I kept waiting for the perfect moment, the right amount of free time, the ideal window to sit down and write. That window never came. And at some point, I realized it never would. So here I am, making something happen before another seven years passes by.

Since starting this blog, I've traveled to over 40 countries across the last decade, and I am nowhere near done. Japan. All across Europe. All across South America. And so much more still on the list. I've been eating at restaurants that make me do a happy dance in my seat. I've been standing in places that made me feel proud of my ability to go anywhere, and genuinely wonder how I got so lucky. And through all of it, I kept thinking, I need to share this.

That's what brought me back.

I want to take you inside the countries I've explored, the meals I can't stop thinking about, and the adventures I almost talked myself out of. My goal is simple: to inspire you to do the things you've been putting off and show you that they're more possible than you think.

I also want to share a little more of my personal world. My husband and I have been building our home in Harlem, slowly curating the space around us and finding pieces that actually feel like us. That process has become its own kind of adventure, and it belongs here too.

I'm not going to make promises about posting schedules. What I will promise is that everything I share from here on will be something I actually lived. Somewhere I went, something I ate, something worth your time.
